Our week...

Jack sleeping in the backpack. It's great becuase he's easy to put down when he sleeps here... Although this past week he didn't take a nap longer than 45 min.... not sure what that is about :o)

Well, our guests have left, so its time for an update. We had a great week with our friends Dan and Jess and their baby Ally. Both babies were great, and it wasn't a big deal to have them both in our smallish apartment. We have been in full Christmas swing, advent candles, calendar, and lots of cookie baking! We are hosting Christmas parties for all the MS teachers and staff, so I've been getting ready. The first one is this Thur. We are excited and looking forward to this month, especially going home to the US at the end.

Jack is looking greasy becuase I'm trying to get rid of the red rash on his cheeks. He puks at night then sleeps in it, so his face wasn't looking good. He also slobbers all day, which doesn't help :o)

my first turkey and Christmas decorating

I know that Thanksgiving isn't until next week but we've already celebrated!We celebrated yesterday because there is a conference at school over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a great Saturday. I was up early to take the turkey out and get it ready to go in the oven. While I may not eat meat, I had fun cooking the big bird! I had Bryan take lots of pictures because this was my very first turkey cooking experience :o) While the turkey was in the oven we decorated our apartment for Christmas... Then we had a lovely afternoon with about 4o friends and colleagues enjoying the turkey and other great food! Happy holidays!!!

here's what I have been up to...

Hi everyone, Jack here! I just wanted to tell you what I have been up to this past week. I am loving my new hair cut and the cooler weather of Hong Kong. I also have been excited to play with some new toys that mom got out for me. Enjoy all the pictures.

I have been wearing bibs a lot lately so mom doesn't have to change my whole outfit when I puke, or drool...

I love when we go down to the Jaccuzzi. I really like being wrapped all up in the cozy towel to come home and take a shower to rinse off.

Here I am going to sleep with my dad. I was able to suck on my fist and put myself to sleep. No pacifier, it was a great night!

Yesterday I got to go watch dad coach a Basketball game. It was outside, so I got to enjoy the sunshine with mom. The team lost, but we had fun anyway!

Mom made this great hat for my friend Josiah. She is making me one too, but I had to try this one on for size. You can tell that I love it!

I still love to suck on dad's finger when I am upset, which is pretty often :o) He calms me right down.
