our last week...

Jack is now a very busy, active boy! He can pull himself up onto almost anything, and can crawl like its a piece of cake! Hes been crawling for about two weeks now, and getting faster by the minute :o) Last week I had bought some shelves and Jack was really interested in helping me put them together. He wasn't so happy when his head got stuck between two shelves though :o) We also spent the weekend in Thailand. Bryan had a one day workshop on Sunday and Jack and I were able to tag along. We spent most of our free time by the pool, and eating great mexican food!

Family visit

We were so blessed to have Bryans mom and sister here over the long Easter weekend. It was a great to have them here and to get a chance to sightsee in Hong Kong.

Jacks first Easter!

The celebration started last week when we opened a coscerona from Grandma Schroeder. Fortunately for us, I saw all the glitter inside and delayed opening it until we were ready with a sheet! Jack loved touching it and, of course, eating it!

On Easter Sunday Jack got a singing/dancing bunny from Grandma Thompson, who is visiting. Not sure how he feels about it. He looks a little scared in the video below.

Today our moms group had an Easter party and egg hunt for the kids. The baby group didn't really participate much, but Jack LOVED eating the plastic Easter grass in his bucket :o)

Jacks laugh is really developing! He can now anticipate the action that is making him laugh. It's so cute to watch :o)

Food Fun...

Since returning from our trip we have been experimenting with giving food to Jack...We have tried bananas, avocado and spinach. Because he has a yeast based diaper rash (which we were finally able to find a Dr. who diagnosed it and treated it) we are staying away from all grains/glutens at the moment. Jack doesn't actually love the food... he really doesn't like the bananas, but he is 7 1/2 months old, so I'm trying... let's just say he's not actually swallowing much :o)
