Oh how I love to swim....

Wisconsin Summer

Since coming to WI in early July, we have been busy with friends and family. The whole Schroeder clan and families were together for the fourth of July weekend. We had our annual Schroeder games fun! Kyle and Sarah were the winners. Our friend Dana was able to come and be Wills partner for the festivities so that was great! Bryan headed back to Hong Kong earlier this week, so Jack and I are spending a bit more time here before we will join him at home in early Aug.

The fireworks are always a favorite. Jack had to sneak in a quick nap while we were waiting to stay up that late.

Out for a ride on Wills boat. Jack kind of enjoyed his first time in a life jacket and Emily and Bryan were able to enjoy the tubing and water skiing!

Here are some of the first steps last week. He's really made improvements since then... Getting braver and taking more and more steps. His downfall is that he gets excited and starts flapping his arms, then falls :o)

Summer time!!!!

We are having a blast in Iowa! Jack is having a hard time adjusting to all the grass. The progress in the past two weeks is slow, but he will now touch the grass with his feet and sit in it (sort of). He wont crawl though, so its a good place to park him :o) Time with family and friends has been such a blessing to us as well. Hope you are all enjoying the sun and fun as well.

Fun in the pool! Both at the aquatic center and in the backyard... Although the aquatic center really wore Jack out and he crashed for a nap...
