Good bye Unca Will!

 Last weekend we said good-bye to my little brother. He is headed to Siapan to teach for at least a year. Jack had a WONDERFUL summer hanging with him and definitely has a HUGE love for his Uncle or Unca as he says. We can't wait until we head to visit him in April next year!

We are enjoying our final days in WI before we head back to Hong Kong on Thur. We can't wait to see Bryan!! Please pray for a smooth flight with the two boys.

fun with friends

its always SO great to reconnect with old friends! This past week two of my best college friends came to Schroederville to visit. Despite the record heat we had a fantastic time and I was so blessed by the time together. Five kids with three moms can be a challenge, but its worth it!

The Thompsons and Galena

 We spent last week with the Thompson clan in a beautiful rented home in Galena. It was large enough for us all to spread out, yet kept us all together enjoying the home and the nature around us. We all had an amazing week and we are SO thankful to Karen and Harlan for renting the house and getting us all together!

jack can officially swim. He can come up for a breath whenever he wants and has swum all the way across my parents pool. He's such a little fish! We have all been enjoying the pool though, and have been in it most days in the past two weeks. Here are a few of the fun moments. We've taken some fun movies too, but this computer is too slow to post those.

Schroederville Games 2011

 We just are coming off an amazing family weekend. We were all together for three full days and filled those with our annual family game competition. Bryan and I didn't do too well, but we really had a blast. Jack is LOVING the pool and time with cousins. YEAH for summer!!

 We even squeezed in a family workout one morning :o)
