three boys?

Our attempt today to capture the three boys was not so successful. It was a lot easier a year ago when they were lumps on the couch. Anyway, enjoy the shots, I still think they are cute if not so organized. In the end Jack and Josiah liked the photo shoot and we got a few cute ones of the two of them.
Josiah 19mths, Malcolm 17mths, Jack 15mths.

These two are so cute!

Not sure how I feel about picture, I am afraid my son looks a little mischievous.

fun times...

Here are some recent pictures from our adventures.
This weekend we headed in to China for some cheap massages and Papa Johns pizza. My all time favorite pizza ( and the China version is JUST as good!) Jack and I took a few pictures while there.

Sunday we headed down to the Island to catch the Rugby Sevens in the East Asia games hosted by Hong Kong. A few of our friends went as well, so it was a super fun afternoon. The weather was about perfect and the Rugby was good. Hong Kong ended up with a Silver for the mens and a Bronze for the Women.

At the end of the afternoon Jack really needed a nap. Unfortunately it was during the Gold medal match between Hong Kong and Japan (it was SOOO loud in the stadium. However, he fell asleep and had a good nap in spite of it all!

Finally, today was a rainy day so we got together with a few friends down in the playroom here at our estate. The three little boys were being so happy and cute, I just had to capture it.

bruises and apples...

Jack had a run-in with the sidewalk earlier this week. He recovered fairly quickly, but its his worst injury to date :o) To make it more interesting he crashed to the ground in front a of a group of about 10 over-protective helpers who were outside our building :o)

We were given a fruit basket this week that had the largest apple I have ever seen. Here is Jack modeling just how large it is. We tried to give perspective with a normal apple, but it was a large one as well. The best is the picture where it looks as big as Jacks head!

blessings...

I am thankful for my amazing husband, my son, our home, family (near and far), friends, and my savior. We have been so blessed this year and its nice to take a moment at Thanksgiving to give thanks for it all. We were blessed this year to be able to celebrate and give thanks with our ICS family. Christine and I hosted a meal here in the clubhouse of our estate for around 70 of our school "family". When you are far from your family, these people do become like family to you. What a blessing to spend the holiday with them. Everyone brought the most amazing food and the meal was a huge success!

Jacks new love...

I came home from the store sat. with my trusty luggage cart towing all the groceries. Jack saw the cart, and it was love at first sight! We folded the handle over to make it shorter and let him push away. The rest of Sat, right up until bed time he was a busy pusher! it was so fun to watch him!

I really like this pictures of my two boys in their matching jeans and sweatshirts :o)

We are working hard to make sure from the start that our boys grow up to be caring and responsible men. Here are the training exercises from this week :o) Or more realistically here, here are the boys getting into trouble :o)

the park!

Earlier this week we headed over to a friends house for a morning of kid fun and mom time as well. We took the kids to a park near by and they had a blast!

We put four kids in two swings! They didn't seem to mind and it was SO cute!

Jack really was loving it. He was really tired, so kind of in a giddy mood :o)

Lifes a beach!

We have a long weekend with Monday being a holiday, so we decided to enjoy the amazing weather. We went camping on a beautiful beach here in Hong Kong for Sat. night and had a great time. We hiked in to the beach in the morning, with a quick stop off at a rock pool, with a place to jump off. That is where we took the great family pic, where Jack is under the hat :o)

Overlooking where we are going to camp. Bryan carried Jack and I carried all our stuff. They were pretty even loads :o). We didn't bring a tent (rented one out there) or any food (theres a Chinese restaurant on the beach). So we were able to hike in pretty light....

Enjoying a late lunch with our friends and setting up the tent. Then we cooled off with a nice dip in the ocean. Jack had the time of his life. He really doesn't seem bothered by the salt water.

After playing hard, Jack passed out in the tent for a nap! :o)

Here's our early morning sand time with Jack. He slept like a super star during the night (way better than Bryan and I), but was up with the light shortly after 6 :o)
We spent today hiking to an even more remote beach and swimming some more before taking a boat back to civilization. I think we were all glad we didn't have to hike out. What a great way to enjoy the weather, nature, family and great friends!
