Jacuzzi fun!

It's another rainy day here in HK...with no end in sight to the rain :o) So, Christine and I decided to take the boys in the jacuzzi . They had a blast and spent most of the time jumping in and going under. I was a busy lifeguard.

playtime!

We took a little trip to a friends playroom this week. The Estate that she lives in has a great place for kids to play. Jack loved the little cars to drive around and playing with his friends. I liked all the time to talk to other moms :o)
The one problem of the day... he didn't want to share the wheel with Malcolm :o)

tramatized by finger paint?

I was all excited this morning to have Jack try finger painting. I picked up the paint this weekend and was all set. He was a bit excited when I squeezed the paint out onto the table, but it only went downhill from there. By the time I got out the camera, you can see that he is already troubled. When I put my finger in the paint, he burst into tears, and it only got worse! I made him put his finger in (maybe I should have just let him watch), but it didn't help. I'm not sure why this was so upsetting to him, but we may have to wait awhile to try this activity again! Anyway, I am glad I had the camera ready, because these pictures really make me laugh.

new room and funny!

Here are some shots of the new bedroom. It's slightly bigger than the other one
and a lot more green :o) Two walls are green and two are just white. We like it; hopefully Jack does too... It was hard to get good pictures of all the walls in the small space, so you will have to fill in the blanks... Bryan helped me string a wire curtain rod (ikea) around the top of the entire room and then I just hung all the decorations from that. Fewer holes/marks on the wall and I can change it up whenever I want now :o)
The family wall: Jack in the middle, Bryan and I at the same age as Jack, and the whole Thompson/Schroeder clan on the outside.

Jack wanted to try on Bryans glasses the other night... I had to run and get the camera because he was being so cute :o) I love some of them where he has such a nerdy face....

4 months

Time is flying by! Little Thompson #2 is now four months along, and PRAISE GOD it has been complication free. After Jacks pregnancy I didn't know what to expect. I am also finally feeling better, so I can enjoy being pregnant and time with Jack these next few months. I haven't been back to the Dr. since my 12 weeks check, but 20 weeks is coming just around the corner and we go back then.
I've also got a bunch of pictures of Jacks room remodel, so I will post those soon!

Jack: We love him!

Jack didn't have the best weekend, he wasn't feeling really well. It was so nice to have Bryan home during this time to help with the extra attention Jack needed. He has been feeling better the last couple of days, and it's nice to have our son back! Here are a couple of pictures of fun things he's been playing with. He's really into "helping" right now. Anything we are working on, he wants to be right in the mix! We love it!
I was working to organize my craft supplies yesterday and Jack climbed in the felt box, then wanted me to put all the felt in as well, he thought he was SO funny :o)

Jack discovered this ancient machine and just had to check it out. We told him these probably won't even exist by the time he is older :o)

Thailand trip!

We just returned from a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable week in Thailand. My parents were able to come here during Bryan's Spring Break and from here we travelled together. We spent a couple days in Bangkok, then onto Phi Phi Island for a few, and ending our trip in Phuket, Thailand; it was great! We took a million (at least a couple hundred) pictures, so I am just posting a few highlights here. Checkout Facebook for more!

We were able to meet up with our good friends Dan and Jess and their adorable daughter Ally in Bangkok for two days. They are working at a mission school in Cambodia, so it was a treat to see them. Ally is just a few weeks older than Jack and they had fun running around together.
Its always nice to have family time with the three of us!
Jack LOVED all the attention from Grandma and Grandpa. We had so much fun together in all the pools and in the ocean. Jack is still a fish!

Mom and I had a great time together as well soaking up the sun!

At Phi Phi island, Bryan and I hiked to a lookout, we could see the whole island.

Jack's routine was disrupted, but he didn't seem to mind. He slept in lots of unusual and funny places...including falling asleep while riding on Bry's shoulders ;o)
