I was all excited this morning to have Jack try finger painting. I picked up the paint this weekend and was all set. He was a bit excited when I squeezed the paint out onto the table, but it only went downhill from there. By the time I got out the camera, you can see that he is already troubled. When I put my finger in the paint, he burst into tears, and it only got worse! I made him put his finger in (maybe I should have just let him watch), but it didn't help. I'm not sure why this was so upsetting to him, but we may have to wait awhile to try this activity again! Anyway, I am glad I had the camera ready, because these pictures really make me laugh.

Oh... that's hilarious. I love the progression of the photos. He looks so big all the sudden. Like a little boy. Hope you're doing well and feeling good. :)
soooooooo funny! and too cute!
I laughed out loud - such a serious face looking at the blobs of paint! I dealt with alot of the same issues with Riley - didn't want to get messy with cake or ice cream or play in the sand. He got over those fears by the time he was 4 years old - for the most part.
