Brothers...

Bryan and I are SO excited to have TWO little boys in the house. We get really excited thinking about the two of them growing up together! Wow, what a blessing. Here are a few pictures of Jack with his little brother.

It's a BOY!

It's been quite a weekend! I thought I might be in labor Thur. night as I was having more action than normal, but woke up feeling fine Friday after a good nights' rest... I'd been having contractions on and off for about a week, so we were praying it would be soon. We went out for lunch to an Indian Buffet restaurant and enjoyed the holiday with Bryan home. I had a couple of stronger contractions that afternoon, but after a walk to the store later afternoon, my water broke and I went full force into labor. We were able to get Jack to a friends and get to the hospital by around 8. Things went smoothly and progressed quickly from there and Max (Greatest) Shen Li (spiritual strength) Thompson made his appearance at 12:45am on Saturday morning. 8lbs 7 oz, much bigger than jack and WAY bigger than the last estimate by the Dr.... What a beautiful baby though... Max and I spent Saturday in the hospital, Bryan was able to spend his day split between us and Jack at home. We came home today around lunch time and have had a great first afternoon home. Jack LOVES babies and is slowly adjusting to Max. He keeps calling him Nette (his friend Josiah's baby sisters name), so we are working on Max :o)
Here's the video of Jack meeting max for the first time. It was right before his nap, so the timing wasn't great, but he did well. He looks a bit confused :o)

I've uploaded a bunch of photos to facebook. If you don't have an account you can view by clicking HERE

enjoy!

Mid-Autumn Festival

The weather here feels NOTHING like Autumn, yet this week is the mid-autumn festival holiday. Bryan will have school off thur/fri and we are hoping to use that time to bond with a new baby... COME ON little one :o) This past weekend our estate had a little party and festival to celebrate the holiday. It was super fun to go down and hang out socially with people we know, people we don't know, but have seen around and not understand a thing :o)

MS camp

well, no baby... but life goes on for the moment and the business of school continues! This past week Bryan spent Wed-Fri at MS camp. Jack and I spent those days over with our friends the Paines having a little sleepover. It was a great distraction to the baby-waiting and kept us busy while Bryan (and Jason, their dad) were away.
Here are a few shots from camp.
Bryan and Jason dressed up for the clue game.
a few more teachers in their costumes.
We went to camp to visit for the afternoon and evening on Thur. We were able to swim with the kids, get some time with Bryan and enjoy the evening BBQ, fun times!
Yum!?!?!?
Jack and Josiah...loving camp!

39 weeks...

On Monday I will be 39 weeks...I had Jack exactly one week early, but who knows when this one will come. I'm ready to get him/her out of my belly and into my arms.
We are trying to just enjoy spending lots and lots of time with Jack these days, enjoying the last moments of him as an only child.
We still haven't picked a boys name- we are down to two... we will see if its a boy, then go from there :o)
Please pray for a smooth and intervention free labor!

Videos of Jack

I haven't posted any videos of Jack for a while... Our camera takes video in large files, so I have to convert first before I can upload them. Today I finally got a few done... Enjoy!

Play day...

This weekend Jack and I were able to go play with a few friends that we don't see very often. We got together with a group of moms who work, so its harder to get together. It was great to take a Saturday and PLAY!
