1st Birthday!

Our little one is ONE! Wow, we can hardly believe how fast the year has flown by. We celebrated last night with a dinner in honor of Jack and a friend over to play. It was a lovely evening and we relived many memories from a year ago. Here are some of the highlights of Jacks birthday!
Jack posing for the camera and a shot of his cake

Our family! Jack was a little tired at this point...But he pushed through to enjoy the evening :o)

He watched us blow out the candle :o)

Opening presents! Thanks Cousin Calli and Josiah!

Playing with the new toys! We love the Xylophone from the Paines!

We finished the evening by watching the photo frame and talking about all the friends and family in our lives! Jack loves to look at the pictures and point to people. Then dad walked Jack to sleep and he fell asleep in this funny position! What a great day to celebrate a great year!

where have the babies gone?

Wow, its hard to believe that a year ago I was still pregnant and we didn't even know that Jack was Jack! My baby boy is now an active, adorable toddler :o) This week as he has been playing with his buddies (who have also grown so much) this has really hit home for me. I am excited (and scared :o) to move on to the next stage, but I take a moment to mourn the loss of my baby and look forward to the fun ahead!
Jack and Josiah at the mall yesterday. Loving the car, we didn't even have to pay the money to make it move, they were in love!

Today we were visiting Malcolm, and the neat playroom at his apartment building! The boys were running around, up and down, fighting over toys, and having a blast!

We tried to get a new picture, its really getting harder! Here they are at Jack (almost 1) Malcolm 13 1/2 months, and Josiah 15 1/2 months.

Climbing the "M"

These pictures are a couple of weeks old now, but I thought they were so fun! My last week in the US, my friend Kate and I met up to climb the M hill in Platteville. We were more successful at getting to the top than we were taking a picture of the three boys. I just kept snapping away, but they are all so funny! Kate had to go in to get a decent one :o)

Almost to the top, I let Jack out of the backpack to climb on his own...

Beautiful view from the top!

Last week in WI

Wow, What an amazing summer we have had. Jack and I are more than ready to head back home to HK and Bryan! We have been filling our days with fun and sun though, and here are a few favorites. Two of Jack's summer highlights are swimming and playing on the carpetball table. He pushes all the balls back and forth. He also has had a blast in the water! Grandma keeps the pool at 88, so everyday is a pool day. Dispite the cool summer we have been swimming every day!
