a week in review

 Most of these pictures are actually from over a week ago, but I haven't posted them...

 While Bryan was gone we tried to stay busy! We had friends over for play and lunch one day...

 Did some decorating for Valentines day... (you can see more on this on my other blog)

 Bought a new table... The boys were MORE than willing to HELP me put it together. We started right before bed time, so I let them play for awhile, then I put them down and finished it... alone (much more successful than with the two boys around!)

 Trying to keep Max busy while I did some sewing... He likes to push every button on my sewing machine (while I'm sewing!)

 

and... last night I hosted a Mom's Night In... for our moms group. We had a smaller group, but it was so fun. We had dinner and watched the movie Babies. I had never seen it, so cute!!! The kid in Mongolia was my favorite :o)

 We bought a new computer chair and had some fun with the box.

My visions of a fun project with the boys quickly turned into a disaster as Max destroyed as quickly as I built :o) Keeping the sharp knife away from both of them was a challenge...and in the end they played with it for all of ten minutes before they started jumping on it to smash it... oh boys!

trip to vietnam

I've posted a lot of photos!!! Although they just touch the surface of how many we have from the trip. We had a great week in Vietnam with Cami and seeing Hanoi and Sapa

Hong Kong Krazies: Drying Laundry

 This is the sign on a fence right by our apartment....

 THIS fence has the sign, and also LOADS of laundry... in fact, I had to lift up a blanket to take a picture :o)

I guess since most people don't have dryers they have to be creative on drying... I am fortunate to have space in the house for a drying rack... but not everyone does. Here are a few other buildings around town with laundry hanging out the windows...

Its not the number of times Jack as asked WHY this week...

Its not the number of times Max has said NO this week....

Its not the number of loads of laundry or dishes that I have done...

Its our registration number for our ADOPTION!!! Yes! Its official!! After nearly of year of chasing down papers and waiting for official documents to be approved.(and five years of wanting to adopt, but having doors close in our face) ..we are registered with the Chinese Government... OFFICIALLY!!! We are SO excited and can't wait to see what gift God gives us... We've been official now for about two months (I'm a little late on getting this posted)..but there didn't really seem to be a rush when it will probably still be a couple of years. We hope you will join us in praying for the right baby girl to be placed with our family!

getting the good one...and a camp out.

 It is nearly impossible to get both boys smiling and looking at the same time. I don't know how people with more do it! :o) Anyway, I always love to look at all the shots I snapped, "hoping" to get a good one.

 This last one was pretty good!

 Jack and his grandma camped out in the living room while we were there. It was a great camp-out, complete with marshmallows over the fire!
