fun times with friends

Here is Jack hanging with his best buds... We had a last lunch before everyone takes off for summer. As you can tell in this first picture Malcolm is just heartbroken that he won't be seeing everyone for awhile. Josiah is really happy and Jack is just wondering what in the world is going on!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends Thur. night (again trying to meet up one last time before we all spread out) Was a really fun evening and great food and conversation. Happy Summer!

Jack is all over the place these days! "helping" with everything Bryan and I do! :o) Here are the latest pics... We are really looking forward to summer and being with friends and family.. only 3 more weeks!

Jack was cranky when I was sewing, but liked playing when I was trying to put things away!

We really aren't in a hurry for Jack to walk, but last night he figured out how to use this toy. We were all pretty excited! :o)

When we have an evening at home, Jack usually gets a shower after dinner. Then he and Bryan play hide and seek, before we try and wrestle him into his diaper and PJs... These pictures and the video give you a peek into how fun little Jack can be :o)

since the last post...

Its HOT here! Wow, summer is upon us here in Hong Kong. Jack and I try and make it down to the pool when ever we can. We were also able to spend Sunday afternoon at the pool with Bryan which was fun. Not too much to share this week, but we always keep busy. Here are the newest photos...

Last week we celebrated my friend Christine's birthday at Ruby Tuesdays. Was so much fun and the three little guys were so good! They made quite a miss though and the floor was covered! We felt bad and cleaned up a little before we left :o)

Here is Jack "Helping" in the kitchen while I make dinner. He was leaning his head SO far back, Bry was able to get a good shot.

Jack loves to pull himself up on EVERYTHING! I am now having to remember to put the lid down on the toilet all the time, because this is a favorite place :o) It bangs like a drum!

He loves balls! He spends lots of time everyday rolling them around and chasing after... the game usually ends when he sends one rolling under something where he can't reach! He also learned this weekend to play with another person and roll the ball back and forth. You can see the fun in this video... We also love how he flaps his arms so much :o)

Mothers day weekend

We had such a great weekend. The weather was beautiful, so that was nice! Sat. we went out to Lamma Island, which is a small island near HK. We had a nice hike, then lunch, and ferry ride back. Jack loves the backpack, so he had a great time! Sunday I had some nice mom time alone while the boys went to a field hockey match. We met up with some friends for lunch and then a nice relaxing family afternoon at home. Oh, and Bryan took Jack for a run in the evening while I went and got a lovely foot massage, what a great first mothers day!

Jack discovered our washing machine a few days ago. Its right in the kitchen so it was a good distraction while I was cooking. He liked watching the clothes go around :o)
